Dr.Rajshree Trivedi is Associate Professor at the Dept. of English, M. N. Women’s College, Mumbai. She w Managing Editor of Research Horizons, an international journal with impact factor, and is, currently on the revie and Advisory Boards of two international, multidisciplinary journals with a good impact factor. She was editorial board of the book Geriatric Concerns in India: Past, Present and Future. Deviance, Conformity and Social n James Reaney’s Oeuvres and Re-imagining the Text: The English Studies and Digital Humanities are her r published books. Her areas of interest are Metaphors in Cognitive Linguistics, Ecopsychology and Eco-humaniti paper “Nature Metaphors in Seamus Heaney’s Human Chain’’ was selected at The 2014 Stockholm Metaphor F organized by the Department of English, Stockholm University, Sweden and the visit was funded by the Uni Grants Commission (UGC). She has translated five books into English and contributed research papers to edited and reputed journals. She was involved with the preparation of a module for the e-PG Pathshala course of MHRD on “Sociology of Indian Diaspora.” She is a Research Guide with SJJT University, Rajasthan and SNDT W University, Mumbai. She is also appointed as referee for evaluating Ph.D. thesis for the Gujarat University, Ahm and SVNSG University, Surat. A poet, short story writer and translator, her works have been published in Mus Vahi, Indian Literature, The Speaking Tree and other literary productions. She is the recipient of the “Outstanding the Year” award at the prestigious Rabindranath Tagore International Poetry Contest. Her short story ‘ At the Gate’ was on the National Winner’s list of Matrubharti ,a writing portal. She has published and presented papers at conferences and in journals of national and international levels.
